Frames are generalizations of bases or complete systems in an inner product space. They are used in a wide range of both pure and applied mathematics. In this seminar, we will introduce some of the basic properties and operations involved with frames. After that, we will work through some newer results using frames. No prior experience with frames is necessary or expected.
At this meeting, we will discuss when to meet for the rest of the semester.
